A Nile Monitor (Varanus niloticus) at London Zoo

Nile Monitor Veranus Niloticus

We are a professional licensed wildlife  control company  with  extensive experience in professional  wildlife control and animal removal company.

We are your local one source company for any and all wildlife, bat, bird & animal pest problems from iguanas to bats, armadillos, birds, raccoons, squirrels & snakes to rats, roaches and scorpions. It would be a mistake to just think we trap and hunt iguanas and lizards because we are a full service wildlife removal and pest control company duly licensed and insured right here in Boca Grande, Gasparilla Island, in both Charlotte County, Florida and Lee County, Florida.

We also service other communities near us like Rotunda, Grove City, Placida, Englewood, Venice, North Port, Warm Mineral Springs,  and Port Charlotte, Florida.

We are experienced in working with, catching,  controlling and getting rid of invasive species like the Iguana, Monitor lizard, and other invasive reptiles like many non native reptiles of concern indian or burmese python, african rock python, amethystine python, reticulated python, green anaconda and nile monitor lizard.

Large lizards like the iguana and Nile monitor lizard now live here locally. They are not supposed to be here and are a native from lands out side the continental United States and that is why they are called an invasive species. The lizards’ weapons include: sharp, snake-like teeth, long, muscular tails they use as whips, and claws that look like the sinister pendants of voodoo necklaces. They can run up to 18 miles per hour on land and swim under water for an hour at a time.

Gopher Tortoise in Cocoa, Florida

The Gopher Tortoise

Large lizards do not belong in South Florida, somebody put them here and today we have an ongoing battle of trying to catch and capture all of the invasive species before they destroy many of our own native species like the Gopher Tortoise.

Yes the gopher tortoise is being threatened because these lizards prey on their tortoise eggs, hatchings and can even eat younger tortoises. The tortoise is part of our eco system and over 300  species rely on gopher burrows as their homes .

I am George Cera, Save Florida Eat An Iguana I truly believe these lizards will eventually result in the endangerment and disappearance of over 300 native Florida birds and animals if we can not stop the invasion of these large lizards in South Florida.

I am probably the most well known iguana trapper in Florida and the United States today . I was the other Iguana trapper hired by Boca Grande and have nearly 16,000 verified & documented iguana captures to my credit today.

I wrote a book, The Iguana Cook Book http://www.iguanacookbook.com/

Like a hoard of Locust they moved over the Island  eating every thing in sight. From their Island home they slipped on to the mainland  unleashing death and destruction on the Native Floridian wildlife. To save Florida from this marauding  invader. I say to you ‘Eat an Iguana ”
